On Earth, the canine connection with Sirius has been known for millennia. In the Americas alone, the names for Sirius include Wolf Star to the Pawnee, Dog Face to the Blackfoot and Moon Dog to the Inuit. Cultures around the world have similar names. For the Romans, Sirius was Little Dog, for the Chinese Celestial Wolf. In ancient Chaldea (Iraq) Sirius was the Dog Star That Leads, and Dog Star is now in common English usage from books to movies.
This all came about because the beings of Sirius are shape shifters; mostly canines but also bears and seals; who move between their animal and their human(ish) forms. As humans they have the dexterity for the delicate work they carry out in their labs, science being a favourite pastime on Sirius, second only to Soma consumption. In fact, it’s the marvellous marriage of health through healing science, and the joys of their various natural plant highs, that makes Sirius such a popular destination choice among those who can control their reincarnations.
Sirius has been active here on planet Earth for millennia, but there is still much confusion regarding who is an ordinary dog and who is a bodhisattva warrior from Sirius.
Things were much clearer in ancient times when for instance the jackal-headed Anubis and Set were gods familiar to every Egyptian. When the Greeks knew quite well that Leto, mother of Apollo, often took the form of a dog to hunt with her pack, and it was not unusual for a man to turn into a wolf at the sacrifice to Zeus. Romulus and Remus were of course suckled by a wolf, sacred to the Etruscans. The Aztec’s had the hairless dog Xolotl to guide them through the underworld, Cerberus guarded the doors of hell, and no respectable god of the Vedas lacked a dog companion.
When Indra told Dharmaraja that dogs weren’t allowed in heaven he said “Fine, I’ll stay out myself.” So Indra relented and Dharmaraja’s dog transformed into Sarama, the Divine Bitch companion.
Dogs don’t do so well in the Bible, where they become “The Hounds of Hell” etc. There are 27 references to dogs and every one of has them as unclean, representing low standing and wickedness. In the Book of Revelations, for instance, the Bible talks of the City of God. Inside “are the blessed”, outside “are the dogs”. Metaphorical, but also literal as the bible says that animals don’t have souls and so it would seem, no place in heaven.
Such attitudes do not go down well on Sirius.
It should be noted though, that the above is old school thinking. It does not reflect the view of modern good-hearted Christians who pray for and expect to reunite with their pets in heaven. After all, the prophet Isaiah says God will include animals in the new Heaven and Earth: “The wolf and the lamb will feed together.”
Oh dear, speak of the devil – I have just had a message from Commander Winnie, who has evidently been following this intro on Crystal Net. He says: “Neil, the point of the KBW Archive is so that information can be accessed in concise form by students of this period.”
He goes on to say my ramblings are “self-indulgent and wandering off topic”. Sorry folks, I get carried away. I’m meant to be talking about the difference between an Earth Canine and a Sirius Canine. The thing is you can’t tell. Unless, of course, you hear your dog talking. That’s a dead giveaway.
Or you might spot him/her doing a shift to human form. You can be pretty sure you won’t see this though unless she/he wants you to. The potential for confusion when people see a Sirius Shape Shifter shifting is too great. That’s where all this crazy nonsense about werewolves comes from.
In these confusing modern times of ours, apart from the superstars like Silverfox and Green Dog, Sirius chooses to keep a low profile. To the unaware the general agents of Sirius appear and behave like any other dog, attaching themselves to a human, or family, while they secretly carry out their mission on Earth. More and more people though are now waking up to the reality that something is going on, and sometimes a Sirius agent will choose to let their caregiver/owner know who they really are. Silverfox, for instance, uses me as a base and is quite open about who he really is.
In conclusion, in light of the above, Commander Winnie advises that people should treat their dogs, and all animals for that matter, with the greatest respect. After all, you don’t know just who you might be dealing with.
